Integrations with SentinelOne and Microsoft Defender for Endpoint

By integrating Varonis with Microsoft Defender for Endpoint and SentinelOne, Managed Data Detection and Response (MDDR) analysts detect even more attacks and perform end-to-end investigations with little to no customer or third-party involvement.

Varonis’ new EDR integrations provide customers with:

  • Earlier threat detection: MDDR analysts use EDR alerts to identify and stop threats earlier in the kill chain.
  • Swifter and more conclusive investigations: Varonis consolidates telemetry from multiple detection surfaces — data, cloud, identity, network, and endpoint — into a single view for fast and conclusive forensics.
  • Higher ROI on EDR tools: By correlating EDR alerts with Varonis' unique data-centric alerts, MDDR analysts spot threats that could go unnoticed in isolation.

With access to EDR alerts, Varonis MDDR analysts can track threats earlier, faster, and with greater context.

MDDR executive dashboard

Varonis’ new MDDR dashboard provides a high-level overview and key metrics on data-centric incident response. The dashboard includes:

  • Alert funnel – total alerts, alerts investigated, escalated, and closed
  • Hours saved with the MDDR service
  • Alerts investigated during customer off hours
  • Average time to investigation

This dashboard will enable CISOs and other cybersecurity professionals to quickly grasp and address their organization’s data security threats with the support of the MDDR service.

Azure effective permission insights

Varonis has expanded visibility in Azure to provide an even more in-depth view of effective permissions in Azure Blob.

Varonis shows you who has access to Azure resources and their role assignments so security teams can better understand exposure, control access, and reduce the organization’s blast radius.

With user and role permissions mapped across all Azure instances, you can easily understand and reduce your blast radius.

Multi-tenant data labeling

Multi-tenant labeling allows customers with complex business structures, like multiple subsidiaries, recent acquisitions, and different business units, to apply and manage multiple labeling rule sets for all their data sources from a single pane of glass.

With this new feature, customers can quickly onboard new subsidiaries, expand visibility across business units, and avoid duplicative labeling projects.
