Varonis is bringing the heat this May, with product updates that include a UI refresh, easier policy management, privacy automation, and more.

Varonis users can now view data discovery policies directly in the web interface. See which policies are available and active, and view controls to turn specific discovery policies on and off

Automation rollbacks  

To give our users more confidence in deploying automation, Varonis has expanded our rollback options, allowing you to:   

  • Remove direct permissions for dynamic groups 
  • Remove direct permissions for public groups 
  • Remove direct permissions for org-wide groups 
  • Remove direct permissions for non-org users 
  • Remove direct permissions for users from a specific domain 
  • Disable stale users

Privacy automation  

Existing customers can now gain access to our Privacy Automation module, a PII search engine that enables easy and efficient DSARs and legal e-hold across cloud and on-premises environments.

Expanded remediation in AWS — coming soon!    

In addition to existing automation for removing excessive permissions, fixing misconfigurations, enforcing data loss prevention (DLP), and more, the new update will provide greater automation for AWS environments, including the ability to automatically: 

  • Remediate publicly exposed AWS S3 buckets 
  • Remove stale users, roles, and access keys in AWS at scale
