Yaki Faitelson - CEO, President and Co-Founder
Mr. Faitelson is responsible for leading the management, strategic direction and execution of the Varonis vision. Under his leadership, the company has established a worldwide installed base and forged a leading position in the data governance market. Prior to Varonis, Mr. Faitelson held key leadership positions in the global professional services, product development and systems integration divisions of NetVision and Network Appliance.
Ohad Korkus - Vice President of Engineering, CTO and Co-Founder
Mr. Korkus is responsible for all aspects of product research, design, development and quality assurance. Under his leadership, the company has assembled a world-class research and development organization with deep experience spanning storage, networking and security. Prior to Varonis, Mr. Korkus was responsible for the architecture, design and development of global data management and networking infrastructure with NetVision and Network Appliance.
Kevin Comolli - Managing General Partner, Accel Partners
Kevin has been active in international start-ups, general management and venture capital investing for 24 years, in the USA, Europe and Israel.
Prior to joining Accel, Kevin spent 4 years as a London-based Partner at Doughty Hanson & Co., a leading European private equity fund with over $4.0 billion under management. Kevin has served on the Board of Directors at companies in the United Kingdom, Germany, France, Italy and The Netherlands.
Before joining Doughty Hanson & Co., Kevin spent 2 years as Executive Director at Goldman Sachs International. Prior to joining Goldman Sachs, Kevin spent 14 years with Fanuc, the world-leader in robotics and numerical controls.
In 1982, Kevin graduated with highest distinction from Northwestern University with a BS degree in Engineering and Mathematics. In 1987 he received his MBA from Harvard Business School.
Erez Shachar - Managing Partner, Evergreen Venture Partners
Erez joined Evergreen in the beginning of 2004 as a managing partner. He focuses on Evergreen's investments in software. Erez joined from NUR Macroprinters Ltd. (NASDAQ: NURM), where he served as CEO and President since 1997. Under his direction, NUR increased its revenues sevenfold by significantly penetrating global markets. Company sales increased from $16 million to over $120 million per year in less than four years.
Prior to joining NUR, Erez held several senior managerial positions at Scitex Corporation (NASDAQ: SCIX ), where he began as a software engineer. From his position as the CEO of a publicly-traded company on NASDAQ and a world-wide leader in its field, Erez has significant operational and managerial experience as well as first-hand experience with international capital markets. Erez holds a B.Sc. in Mathematics and Computer Science (Magna Cum Laude) from Tel-Aviv University and has an MBA from INSEAD. Erez represents Evergreen on the boards of Illuminator, Traiana ,Varonis, Press-sense and e-Glue.
Rona Segev-Gal - General Partner, Pitango Venture Capital
Rona Segev-Gal joined Pitango as a Partner in mid 2005 to head the Enterprise Software sector.
Formerly a Partner at Evergreen, she brings with her a great deal of expertise in the software investments, as well as strong Venture Capital experience. During her tenure at Evergreen, Rona led investments in and served on the boards of: Traiana, Identify (acquired by BMC), Actona (acquired by Cisco), Varonis, Item Field (acquired by Informatica), Illuminator, Aduva (acquired by Sun).
Prior to that, Ms. Segev served as Vice-President of Business Development at BRM Technologies, and on the investment committee of Koor Technologies. Rona also founded and managed Kidum Multimedia, a software company focused on 3-D technologies, that was acquired by SEA in 1997.
Rona holds B.A. degrees with honors in Psychology and Philosophy from The Hebrew University.
